Hi, I shall not talk about pol-ite results. On to more up coming events.

1stly Chalet. Abit early right but its only 8 weeks away until our next holiday ^^ But I'm also thinking of holding it together it with the RP peeps. More people more fun right?

Since we 2 teams like so close together now. I think should be no problem? Anybody got objection? If got pls put on tagboard. Even if no objection also must put and give me some idea of where to stay. Of course we still have to see RP side lah =) 3 Days 2 Nights? Either 8-10th March / 22nd - 24th march that week.

2ndly So Please pass $10 pool fund to justin. We needa buy chalks, Trays, IRs & other stuff. The remaining amount will be used for the booking of the chalet. Further left over is used to book the mahjong tables for chalets LOL. Food is another day settle.

3rdly friendlies. Will try to get some soon. Just chill man!!

New Year Eve's Fun Pool

The New Year Eve's Fun Pool will be conducted on New Year Eve, well that is pretty obvious. It will start at 730pm to 12midnite, should be after countdown. Things to expect is games (no skills required type), finger food and drinks. I understand that some of you may already have plans, which is precisely why I need to do a strength check. Increase in monthly subscription from 1 Jan 2011

To all pool team members,

Sorry to inform all of you that with effect from 1 Jan 2011, the monthly subscription will be raised from the current $20 per month for non-SPGG members, to $25 per month. The rate for SPGG members and student-members stays the same as $10 per month.
The rationale for this arrangement by the management, is to help defray the increasing costs, and to encourage more students to sign up as student membership.
Sounds harsh on you guys, especially when most of you are still students. But I'm just following instructions.

SPGG Pool Team Rules and Regulations

To all SPGG Pool Team members,

Kindly take note of the following:

Rules and Regulations

All pool team members are to adhere strictly to the following, failure to do so will result in status being removed from the pool team.

1. All pool team members are to sign in at the Front Office when proceeding to Pool Hall.

2. Pool team members are to consolidate the monthly subscription to the appointed treasurer/ captain, and hand to the Front Office/ Sports & Social Officer on the 5^th of the month, along with the updated name lists.

3. Names not on the updated name lists will have to pay hourly rates when playing.

4. Guests of pool team members will have to pay prevailing hourly rates when playing.

5. Members under student membership status are not allowed to smoke in the premise.

6. New members are to go for compulsory training sessions organized by the pool team committee, failure to do so, status as pool team member will be revoked.

7. Members are to keep the pool hall clean and tidy at all times, including the metal cabinet which can only house members’ equipments.

8. Members are to behave with decorum, ie: be polite and dressed appropriately when entering pool hall, and when representing SPGG in friendly games or tournament.

9. Front office reception shall have the right to refuse entry to any pool team members who do not abide by the rules and regulations of the SPGG Pool Team.

Christmas 2010 9 Ball Shootout

Open to all players with a race to 7 for the preliminary rounds
Top 8 Ranked Players to give 4 rack handicap (ie they start from minus 4 racks)
Top 9 to 16 Ranked players to give 2 rack handicap (ie they start from minus 2 racks)
Ladies will receive 2 rack handicap
Entrance Fee is S$30/- with loser paying table fees

Direct buy in for the last 32 players is also available at $90/-

Each preliminary round will consist of a minimum of 8 players to a maximum of 16 players per day.
Preliminary round starts from 8th Dec at 7.30pm sharp. Each qualifying day 2 players will qualify for the finals unless there are 14 or more players than 4 will qualify.

Once 32 players are reached the qualifying rounds end.

Last 32 and last 16 rounds will be held on Saturday 18th Dec 2010 at 4.00pm and 8pm

Last 8 to the finals will be held on Sunday 19th Dec 2010 at 2.00pm

Prizes are set at 40% for the Champion
20% for the Runners-up
20% for the Semi-Finalists(shared by 2 players)
10% for the Quarter-Finalists(shared by 4 players)
10% for the Last 16(shared by 8 players)

Firstly

Please note that on 24 dec there will be members using 4 tables from around 9am to 1pm. Therefore please stick to tables 3 and 4 during this period.

Secondly

The payment for the table fees is due on 5 dec. Those who have never made the payment will not be able to use the tables.

Thridly

Please note that payment of the table fees has changed, pass to Justin your fees and he will compile it and we will make the payment as a whole pool team.

Lastly

READ THE NOTICE ON THE CUPBOARD. Anyone who breaks the rules will be kicked out of the spgg pool team by the management.

Congrats to team KIC for getting second place in TPC. The champion position was so near yet so far, but overall well done to all the team members Hong wei, Justin, Quek Yan hui and finally Lee yan hui. A very big apology to the team for being a useless team captain and playing like a clown in the finals.Cheer up guys!!! we will be the CHAMPION next year.
