GF Billiards at Depot Road will be holding their very first Christmas 8 Ball Challenge 2009.
Details are as follows:-

Format : Double elimination race to 3 8 ball with alternate break.
8 Players a night and each night 2 players qualify and will come
back on the finals. Finals will be a race to 5.
Eligibility : All players are allowed to take part with the exception of
those ranked in the Top 16 of the Open National 8 and 9 Ball 2009 and those ranked in the top 8 of the Ladies National 8 and 9 ball 2009
Entry Fee : Entry fee is S$30/- and all participants will receive a
door gift.
Table Punch : There will be no table punch for this tournament
Prizes : Champion S$600/- cash
Runner-up S$300/- cash
Semi-finalist S$100/- cash
Q-finalist S$50/- cash

All matches will begin at 8pm and players must report by 7.30pm.

Philip's Training with SPGG has totally ceased as its unfair to him and the pool hall. However for the new batch of year 1s we hope to work something out with him so we can all continue training with him.
